A comfortable chair and a desk lamp and other small items need to be picked out at this initial stage to plan and get a feel for the layout of the room. If the area is very limited a multi functioning machinery can be used. The telephone lines and internet access will also have to be installed in the proper area of the room.

These can be in the form of shelves on the walls, or a separate locker/drawer for all your files, books and other items. This will help look the room look tidy as well as help you in finding important documents when they are neatly stacked in a drawer or locker. It will help you to have an electronic calendar set up as well and have it placed on your desk to know your plans and commitments.
